Saturday afternoon football i.e. 3pm football is not allowed in the UK. It’s a funny rule that we as a nation only have. The rest of Europe and possibly the world seems to have no problem with showing these games and don't have this closed time rule that we do!!

You should never show 3pm football as this is actually breaking the football rule on the closed time period.

The reason there is a closed period at 3pm on a Saturday is to protect grass roots football and is to encourage fans of lower league football teams and local non league teams to go to there grounds to watch their games.

We agree with this and will do so until the football rule is changed!!
